We try to keep life interesting by catching a glimpse of the world (be it near or far from our home…) Oh, if only just to allow us to live vicariously through our past trips (since, well, Mark still travels far and away but Nikki is a bit of a homebody for now), we like sharing a record of our favorite getaways.
Our two, regularly-scheduled excursions include October Surprise Trips (annual), the Winter Olympics (quadrennial, obviously). In both cases, each one is completely different from the previous. Mark is in charge of planning both and does so with such vigor and delight, you wonder why he doesn’t do it for a living (some of our friends have inquired).
Finally, don’t miss a little flashback to what was our biggest adventure ever – our 2002 World Trip. we booked a ticket in one direction (headed East) and flew around the globe (yes, the point was to stop a few times). If only I’d owned a digital camera way back then… but these old jpgs still have a good story to tell.
